The project
A quiet district by the lake
Serenia District sits at the edge of Jumeirah Islands, where the lakes and villas meet the towers of the city. Six residential towers and a row of podium townhouses gather around gardens, water and paths.
Nikken Sekkei designed it with Japanese ideas in mind: clean lines, open rooms and living spaces that run out onto balconies. Natural materials and soft light set the mood. At night the façades glow with small points of light.
Homes have one, two or three bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms and good storage. Many look out over Jumeirah Islands or the skyline, and Serenity Lake sits at the centre of the community.
